EP1: Find your Soul Purpose in Astrology, Venus as an Atmakaraka

The landscape of interpretation in Astrology is boundless and diverse when it comes to pinpointing what the soul purpose of the natal chart at hand is. Across history, we have seen different methods being used to understand why the individual is here? what career he or she should be doing? and what is the lesson he must learn? and all of these methods hoped for an agreed interpretation about the soul purpose. Indeed, whether you are using the Nodes, or Draconic Astrology, or my personal favorite Harmonic Astrology, all clues are interrelated and lead up to one common theme. I have showcased before the different methods I use to understand the ultimate purpose of the individual such as in my article: The 12th Harmonic, your Secondary SelfThe 12th Harmonic, your Secondary Self. I have been practicing Astrology for twelfth years, and the practice is a never ending journey of exploring and navigating through complex and astonishing methods which to my personal evolution had been a relief to understanding who am I?

I have been studying Vedic astrology lately, and the Vedic practice has to be one of the most rich, complex and rewarding knowledge ever. The great master Parashar did not lie when he said that he who learns the Jyotisha, learns the secret of the universe.  Vedic Astrology succesfuly created an interwine between the myth, the practice, and the individual. The scope of interpreation in Vedic astrology is complex and linguistically challenging. However, if focus is put to the forth, successful results can be met.

I have been working to bring to the forth some of my fascinations with the practice. In this video, I will be exploring the topic of the soul purpose in Astrology or Atmakaraka. Atamakara delves deep into what the person should be doing in this lifetime to fullfil his soul. The video deals with how you find your Atmakaraka, and draw your soul chart. This is a series of episodes, and this is episode one where we explore Venus as an Atmakraka.
